Laura and Mike own and operate Comfort Keepers, an in-home non-medical and personal care provider based in Fairfax City.
They enjoy working with seniors, assisting them in remaining independent in their homes. One of their Caregivers, Marie Lipscombe, was recently honored by the Comfort Keepers corporate office as Caregiver of the Southeast Region. We are certainly proud of all of our Caregivers.
Both are members of the Central Fairfax and Annandale Chambers of Commerce. Our office was awarded The Professional Business of the Year for 2004. Laura was the vice-chairman of the Prince William Commission on Aging and was named the 2003 'Rookie of the Year' by the Fairfax Noon-Day Optimist Club and is President for 2005. Mike was the Chairman of the Social Services Advisory Board for Manassas Park and served as Treasurer of the Fairfax Noon-Day Optimist Club. Currently, he is on the Board of Director of the Virginia Association for Home Care. Both Mike and Laura enjoy volunteering at various local charities.
